Sam Knee
Sam Knee’s wrestling career began in 1997, at the Hammerlock wrestling school; unfortunately a devastating knee injury caused an abrupt end to his training and in fact forced a premature retirement from active wrestling. However, this did not prevent the “manager of champions” from staying involved in the wrestling business.
In 2003 Sam purchased a percentage share in a wrestling tape trading company, called Shooting Star Video and was also involved, back stage, during the original, FWA era. At the end of 2004 Knee ended his partnership with Shooting Star Video, which has since ceased to trade, and then decided that a new venture was definitely on the cards!
Saturday March 12th 2005, Sam Knee promoted his very first show “Living On A Prayer” and HEW began. A year later at “Living On A Prayer 2” Sam made his debut as a wrestling manager and that was the start things to come!
Sam Knee quickly gained recognition as a manager and continues to enjoy a very successful career. He has a long running feud with the Knight family that is battled out regularly at both the WAW and HEW shows; in fact his clashes with Sweet Saraya have even spilled over to the Scottish promotion, W3L.
Sam Knee may have his critics, but with Brett Meadows and Britani Knight by his side, collectively The Devil’s Playboys, can anyone stop him? Quote: “Sam Knee does what he wants when he wants and he doesn’t care what you think”!!!
