Sweet Saraya

One of the most recognisable names on the women’s British wrestling scene would have to be the multi time women's champion, The English Rose Sweet Saraya. She was trained by the legendary tag team The Superflys, consisting of Gentleman Jimmy Ocean and her husband, Rowdy Ricky Knight.

Sweet Saraya’s introduction to the business was no easy path, since, at the time, it was frowned upon, by many men, for women to get into the business. However, Sweet Saraya defied the odds and became well known as a tough force to be reckoned with, throughout the ladies’ scene and feared by many!

Saraya made her debut in HEW, on its second ever show, when she destroyed a bright up and coming wrestler, Lamia, beating her so badly that she left the business soon after Saraya had made her presence felt in HEW. She has more recently become the victim of a hate campaign within HEW, concocted by Sam Knee, however, she has never backed down, even facing and defeating the HEW owner in an inter gender street fight.

Sweet Saraya is forced to face constant adversity from the Devil’s Playboys, however, she battles against odds and remains one of the most popular members of the HEW roster.
